All of my paintings use color to relate form and feeling. My aim in painting is to provoke feelings in the viewers through form and color that cause the imagination to shape what they see, as opposed to what they think they see. My work can be many things to them, depending on their emotions at the time. In most cases, the less known about a painting of mine the more the painting becomes in the mind of the observer. Stimulating the viewer's imagination is more of an inspiration to me than my own concept of a piece.

Most of my work is painted to music, sometimes in front of an audience. Many times I start with an idea, but the music leads the piece to the final outcome. If I’m painting for an audience, I absorb its energy, and that is also evident in my work.
